At Little Feet we are always interested in qualified people who have a passion for working with young children and their families and who are comfortable with our philosophy and curriculum. From time to time we need to fill our full time position and there are often openings for part-time and back up assistants.

CURRENT OPENINGS
We are currently seeking one part-time assistant teacher to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at the end of August 2011. This position is for 16-20 hours per week plus extra hours when a substitute teacher is needed. This is a position with growth potential. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to Laurie Lasky at laurie4kdz@aol.com.

Qualifications: Interested candidates must have proven experience working with young children, preferably toddlers and/or pre-schoolers. Daycare or preschool experience and course work in Early Childhood Education are a plus. A minimum of three references are required, and the successful candidate must be or become EEC qualified.

Compensation and Benefits: Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and education. Starting pay will range from $13-15 per hour, depending upon experience and certifications. Benefits include CPR and First Aid Training and tuition reimbursement for continuing education.

EEC
The Department of Early Education and Care is the licensing agency for all daycare programs in the State of Massachusetts. They set the standards for all programs, including family daycare. If you so are not already certified, immediately after accepting a position at Little Feet, you will be required to apply for certification from EEC. This is a simple process.
